The Treatment and Training center for Teens, TBTceam, offers the T3 third phase, also known as the Conversational Program. This third phase is very similar to the first two phases, however, it goes into deeper levels as this is a conversational therapy for teens program. This T3 phase has also been structured as an assessment program, and in this stage, the child will undergo several activities. They include peer work and discussions with other teens.
How does therapist help teen
During the Conversational Teens program, the therapist will use stories and activities to help the child cope with emotional and other problems. This is done by using active participation and having a direct dialogue. There are various skills learned during the T3 program, and they include being assertive, having influence, understanding emotions, expressing ideas, and strengthening communication skills. These skills help the teenager to deal with his/her life more effectively, and with discipline. The teen then looks forward to a better future.
The Stages and Phases
In this stage, the teenager enjoys learning new things. There is also a group activity which includes games and fun. This T3 program helps to create a support network among peers. The teenager gets confidence through the conversations and learns to develop social skills. In addition, they will have greater self-esteem.
This stage is good for teenagers who have already formed healthy relationships. However, there are those who do not show improvement during this time. Some may even withdraw from the group. It all depends on the teenager, on their maturity level, and the type of problem they are trying to deal with. This also serves as a chance for the parents to speak about their children’s emotional issues.
The main reason behind the Third phase of counseling is for them to learn how to face some life issues. During this stage, the teenager begins to learn how to deal with some issues in their own lives. They begin to explore how they can resolve any conflicts they may be having. Also, the teenager makes it a point to learn how to work in teams, and how to manage their time better.
At this stage, the parents are given the chance to discuss their own feelings about their children. They are given tools that will help them to analyze the situation more thoroughly. They are encouraged by T3 to express whatever is going on in their family life. This will allow them to express what is troubling them in an efficient manner. This will give the parents the chance to understand why their teenager is withdrawing from friends and from social activities.
At the end of this third phase, the parents are given detailed feedback on how the whole T3 procedure has worked out. The parents can now decide if they want to go ahead with T3 further. If so, then they will sign up for a particular course. The fee is charged according to the length of the course.
At this point, the teenager is ready to move on towards the next stage of T3, called the STEP program. This stage involves retraining the teenager with new skills that they will need in their adult life. As the training progresses, the teenager is rewarded for his or her success in the learning of new skills. If all goes well, T3 will introduce the teenager to the professionals who can assist them in this venture.
Step three involves the introduction of the family to the T3 professionals. The parents can expect some pushiness from the professionals if they are not completely pleased with this. If this happens, it may be time to reassess the professional. The parent-teacher relationship can also be assessed. If this is the case, reassessment may be in order.
After the first two steps, the focus turns to the implementation of the new skills. The aim is to introduce the new skills gradually to get the best results. The first task is to ensure that the teenager gets used to the equipment. Once this is done, they will move on to simple drawing exercises.
At this stage, the parents have learned valuable lessons. They have learned how to help their child change his or her attitude and approach towards learning new skills. They have also realized that the T3 professionals need to be highly motivated. With the new skills learned, the parent needs to be supportive and help the teenager to try out a new skill. This can only be effectively achieved through T3 education.
